The Christmas market is located at the RAW cultural centre in Friedrichshain.
It’s also not too far from the East Side Gallery. You can either walk through RAW or walk along Revaler Str until you reach Dirschauer Str, where you will turn right into RAW. It should take you about 10 minutes to walk from the Ubahn or Sbahn, or about 5 minutes from the tram stop.
The official dates for the Berlin Medieval Christmas Market at RAW haven’t been released yet, but based on last year, I estimate the dates to be November 13 – December 22, 2024, closed November 23.
Opening hours are Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
The Historical Christmas Market in Friedrichshain is free on Mondays.

There is a small entrance fee to enter the Christmas market.
Wear warm clothing and dress in layers. Feeling reinvigorated, you can then prove your talent in archery, or even knife or axe throwing.
Pony riding, hand-operated wooden carousels and the knight’s castle make the eyes of young knights and little princesses sparkle.
Look for cosy places to warm up by one of the numerous bonfires.
A free mug of Glühwein is included.

The RAW Gelände starts at the intersection of Warschauer Strasse and Revaler Strasse. These mugs can be a nice souvenir, so if you want to keep it, you’re only forfeiting the deposit.
This Christmas market has lots of stalls where you can buy gifts and Berlin souvenirs.
Kinder kommen ebenfalls auf ihre Kosten: Beim Ponyreiten, im Holzkarussell oder auf der Ritterburg können sie sich austoben. However, several of the stalls accept cards, and there is also an ATM inside the Christmas market.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Glühwein is hot mulled wine that’s flavored with spices such as cinnamon, anise, orange, and many other things depending on the exact recipe. Or if you keep ordering, they’ll keep swapping out your dirty mug for a clean one, and you’ll get your deposit back at the end when you’re done drinking.
Montags bis donnerstags hat der Markt von 15 bis 22 Uhr, freitags von 15 bis 23 Uhr, samstags von 12 bis 23 Uhr sowie sonntags von 12 bis 22 Uhr geöffnet.
Der Eintritt liegt für Erwachsene bei drei Euro, ermäßigte Tickets gibt es für 1,50 Euro. But during the Christmas market season, they also include the Historical Christmas Market at RAW.

You can also throw an axe or shoot a bow and arrow.
