No kidding, he/she truly stole the show! I had already seen him in another film and confirms his talent, very good! I absolutely did notice the blatant mistakes in replacing the Tiger cubs used throughout the film. There's this very naive kind of slow feel to the movie that almost made me turn it off a couple of times, but I'm glad I persevered.
The antagonist is like a dog's fifth leg. Sie können gemeinsam entkommen und begeben sich auf eine lange, gefährliche Reise zu einem abgelegenen Heiligtum, hoch oben im Himalaya, um vor den Wilderern endgültig in Sicherheit zu sein. Auf dem Weg entwickeln Balmani und Mukti immer mehr Vertrauen und Zuneigung zueinander.
though I don't know if that's the feel they were going with. Der Junge hat von seiner Mutter erfahren, dass es im Himalaya-Gebirge ein einsames Kloster gibt, dessen Mönche das „Tigernest“ betreiben, ein Refugium für verwaiste Tiger. There are some scenes where it's nonsense in general.
The visuals were stunning, the acting not so much. To see such pure friendship and a story that represents this value today is an immense joy!
The environments are incredible and they are able to frame this journey of human growth.
It seems that the boy and the tiger are the representatives of the two sides of the world, the human and the animal, and that both of them need the same love and the same protection.
They are extremely devoid of anything needed to make a good villain.
Its a slow paced film but its just had that little something to it that kept me watching it; rather than switching it off. This story encourages us to protect the relationship between man and animal, and not create boundaries, and barriers, but to co-exist in harmony with nature and animals.
'The Tiger's Nest' is visually stunning, taking us on a journey through the mysterious and fascinating land of Nepal and the Himalayas, capturing landscapes and cultures that have rarely been seen in cinema before.
Difficult to watch when the main character's acting is wooden... The film is presented as a family or children's film, but the children can barely keep their attention... Overall the film is not worth watching. The cinematography is intelligent and immersive - imbuing empathy and feeling into every moment.
This film is magical and mystical, leaving us with a bitter-sweet reminder of the beauty, but also the fragility of the natural world, and how we must protect it at all costs.

I shan't talk about the actors and the acting because to tell you the honest truth, the actors do not seem to be professional (and some not to be actors at all...but extras roped in) so its pretty dim in that department.
The dialogues feel a bit contrived, the characters are all 2-dimensional.

A thought-provoking and powerful story about the relationship between a young boy and a tiger cub. Er beschließt, den jungen Tiger, den er Mukti nennt, dorthin zu bringen, damit dieser in Sicherheit aufwachsen kann.

And mutual respect!!The events are a bit disconnected too with not enough of filling in the holes.
That said, the tiger stole my heart, the naivity of the performance was heart-warming, the landscapes were stunning, and the portrayal of the people refreshing, so, for me, a movie worth watching.
